ASME Chicago Professional Development Programs

Professional Development programs are available to ASME Chicago section members in a number of formats.

The Chicago section of ASME sponsors a meeting every month, except during the summer.  Monthly meetings start with an informal networking session, followed by dinner, and then a short technical presentation  by the featured guest.  Members can earn one (1) Professional Development Hour (PDH) by attending these monthly meetings.

Several times a year, ASME Chicago sponsors various hands-on Professional Development Programs for its members.  Programs include topics related to engineering fundamentals, engineering management, applied technology and computer-aided engineering.

In order to provide Professional Development programs for those members that prefer online programs, ASME Chicago is developing a web-based delivery system.  Expect this program to go live in the next month.
